How does a DYNAMITE dress for her body?

THE CORE RULE

Highlight your shoulders AND from your waist or hips down. You are creating balance that your clothes can build in for you.

HIGHLIGHT

Shoulder detail — puckering, shoulder pads, puffed sleeves, off-shoulder, asymmetrical. Then a waist-defining belt or tie. Then something with movement from the hips down.

BALANCE

Straight parallel lines (long straight cardigan + long straight cami + long straight jeans) are your enemy. They reinforce the straight up-and-down and kill your depth.

DINNER OUT

A fit-and-flare dress (darts in, skirt out) + statement belt + stacked heels. If the dress is column-shaped, add the belt. Non-negotiable.
